Article Processing Charges (APC)

The International Journal of Animal Biotechnology (IJAB) operates as an open access journal. In order to maintain high editorial standards and ensure the sustainability of the journal, a nominal Article Processing Charge (APC) is collected to cover operational and publishing costs.

Publication Fee Structure

■ For Authors from India: INR 2,500 per accepted manuscript

■ For International (Foreign) Authors: USD 110 per accepted manuscript

Important: APCs are applicable only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication. There are no charges for submission, editorial screening, or peer review.

Reason for APC

The collected APC helps the journal to meet essential operational and technical expenses, including:

■ Website development, hosting, security, and maintenance
■ Editorial management and peer-review coordination
■ Professional formatting, typesetting, and online publication
■ Long-term digital archiving and DOI metadata preparation
■ Indexing preparation and journal management services

The journal follows a strict ethical policy in which editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of scholarly merit and are completely independent of any payment considerations.
